GREETINGS CHILDREN OF GOD!
Psalm 118:1 exhorts, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” What a wonderful encouragement this is as we enter a season of family celebrations, heartwarming traditions, and contemplated blessings. We are to offer thanksgiving in all things because He is Good. Goodness is his very being. In a temporal world, His love lasts FOREVER! When we contemplate the ideas in the scripture passage, how can we not be filled with gratitude? Throughout the Bible, we are commanded to rejoice and offer praise and thanksgiving in all circumstances. I challenge you to offer a prayer of thanksgiving right now for the blessings in your life. When you practice a habit of gratitude it can be lifechanging.
I am thankful for you, church family. Thank you for your support of the children’s ministry program.
CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISTRY
In the Early Education Sunday school that I teach, we are studying about families and friends. We are learning how to be a good friend and family member from Biblical examples. The nursery, Upper Elementary, and Middle School classes have also been meeting and sharing in depth Bible lessons.

Intergenerational Ministry : MESSY CHURCH
MESSY CHURCH will be studying Generosity in November with a challenge to think about how to embrace the concept and integrate it into our lives as Jesus demonstrated. In December, I am so excited to announce a special session called “The Incredible Jesus Journey: An Advent Experience”. Teams will participate in a meaningful race through the story of Jesus’ birth. January will be a fun and games session (possibly with Nerf paraphernalia).
December Messy Church: ADVENT
Embark on an extraordinary adventure with “The Incredible Jesus Journey” Advent Experience, a thrilling race that combines the excitement of a reality competition with a profound journey of faith. Teams will traverse diverse challenges following in the footsteps of Mary and Joseph and experience the pivotal moments of the Christmas story.
Participants will face a series of challenges that test them physically, mentally and spiritually. Along the way they will “encounter” characters from the story, solve puzzles and engage in team activities that will bring this story to life. Each leg of the race will bring them closer to understanding the true meaning of Advent and the transformative power of faith.
Join us on a soul-stirring journey that celebrates the spirit of Advent through the incredible story of Jesus’ birth. Who will rise to the challenge and complete “The Incredible Jesus Journey”?
Yours in Christ,
Carrie Allio
